This policy explains what data SocialPreviewBot collects, why, and what rights you have over it.

2. What data we collect and why

We do not store the content of your messages, read conversations unrelated to Instagram links, or collect any payment card data — all payments are handled entirely by Telegram.
3. How long we keep data
- Account and subscription data — kept for as long as you use the service, or until you request deletion.
- Payment records — kept for 7 years to comply with accounting obligations.
- Operational logs — automatically deleted after 90 days.
4. Who we share data with
- Telegram — the bot runs on Telegram's platform. Telegram processes all payments and its own privacy policy applies to the Telegram app itself.
- Oxylabs — a proxy service used to fetch Instagram preview data. Only Instagram page URLs pass through; no personal data is shared.
- Sentry — error tracking. Error reports may contain minimal context (e.g. a Telegram chat ID when an error occurs) to help diagnose bugs.
We do not sell data. We do not share data for advertising.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with equivalent data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations for payment records).
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights, email pballada@gmail.com with your Telegram chat ID. We will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (e.g. the AEPD in Spain, the ICO in the UK, or the relevant authority in your country).
6. Cookies and tracking
The website (socialpreviewbot.com) does not use cookies or analytics trackers. The Telegram bot does not use cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and notify users via the bot where possible.
